David Heap- Group Chief Executive TCSJohnHuxley
David Heap has been involved in the gaming industry for over 15 years. Initially as Managing Director of Bell Fruit Services Ltd, who at the time, were the largest gaming machine operator in the UK Free and Tenanted Pub market. Prior to joining the gaming industry he held a number of senior managements appointments in the Commercial Industrial Waste Management industry and Commercial Laundry industry.
In 2003 he was instrumental in bringing together the two largest gaming equipment supply companies to form what is now and has been at the helm as Group Chief Executive since then. In this role he has continued to expand the Group which now has 11 offices worldwide covering every major gaming jurisdiction. Under his leadership, the company continue to go from strength to strength developing new gaming innovations and working closely with specialist product partners to offer the largest and most diverse product portfolio in this sector.

Debi Nutton - Senior Vice President Casino Operations MGM Grand Hotel and Casino

Debi Nutton serves as Senior Vice President of Casino Operations at MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

In her position, Debi is responsible for all Table Games, Slots, Casino Marketing, Poker and Race & Sports Book operations. This includes staffing, training and career development for a team of more than 1,300 employees.

Debi began her career in hospitality in 1975 in Food and Beverage and Hotel Operations before finding a passion for gaming in 1979 where she became one of the first female crap dealers in Las Vegas. Debi joined MGM Grand Resorts International in 1989 as a Pit Manager at the Mirage where she was part of the pre-opening team. After a series of promotions she joined the MGM Grand and in 2001 as the Vice President of Casino Operations.

Debi holds an Associate’s degree in both Nursing and Medical Office Assisting from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Bellevue University. In 2010 she graduated from Leadership Las Vegas, an intensive, 10-month program sponsored by the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce that is devoted to strengthening and educating 48 community leaders.

A Gaming Key Employee license holder and member of the College of Southern Nevada Hospitality Management Advisory Board, she is a frequent guest lecturer for the UNLV Hospitality College. In addition, she is currently on the Advisory Board for G2E, the Global Gaming Expo. In 2007, was named “Woman of Distinction” by the National Association of Women Business Owners for her work in the gaming, hospitality and convention services industry and again in 2009 she was honored to receive Casino Enterprise Management Great Women of Gaming Proven Leader Award Winner.

A volunteer for the Assistance League of Las Vegas, Debi is active in community volunteer programs including those that assist in cancer research and support education opportunities for at-risk children. She was recently selected to be the 2011 corporate walk chair for Light the Night, a walk to raise money for leukemia and lymphoma research.

As a challenge, Debi ran her first marathon at age 50. In her spare time she enjoys golf and bike riding.

Born and educated in Hereford (U.K.) Mark completed a Business degree specialising in international marketing at Wolverhampton Polytechnic and worked in Industrial goods, Local radio, and food marketing prior to venturing into the Bookmaking Industry.
Mark was the owner of a traditional ‘bricks and mortar’ bookmaker’s chain for over 15 years, then recognised the potential of the Internet in the mid 90’s. Mark pursued this opportunity to its fullest. In October 1998 he launched Sportingbet.com from Alderney.

Sudhir H. Kalé

Sudhir H. Kalé, Ph.D., is Professor of Marketing at Bond University’s School of Business in Australia. He is also the Co-Director of the Globalisation and Development Centre within the University. Besides having done seminal work in mainstream marketing, Dr. Kalé has published over seventy articles on the marketing and management aspects of gaming. His work has appeared in top scholarly journals including Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Applied Psychology, International Gambling Studies and UNLV Gaming Research & Review Journal, as well as in leading trade journals such as Casino Journal, E-Gaming Review, NA Casino, IGWB, and Global Gaming Business. He also serves on the editorial review board of several respected journals in gaming, management, and marketing.
Professor Kalé is also the Founder of GamePlan Consultants, a company that offers high level consultancy and training to gaming establishments all over the world. He is widely regarded as an expert in various aspects of casino management such as customer relationship management (CRM), cross-cultural interactions with casino clients, customer service issues, market segmentation and positioning, and customer lifetime value (LTV).
