Nomination Rules    

 

GA- means International Gaming Awards Council.
Nominee- means company or product named in the competition by company or individual.

  • 19 awards will be presented in January 2012, as outlined on www.gaming-wards.com
  • The 19 awards will be judged according to the criteria for each category published at www.gaming-awards.com 
  • Companies and organisations may be short-listed for more than one award. 
  • Companies cannot be short-listed for an award they have sponsored. 
  • Following confirmation by the judges, shortlists for each award will be published prior to the Awards ceremony on the official website. The GA will contact companies that have been short-listed with information.
  • Once the shortlist is published by GA, companies that have made the shortlist may publicise this fact (including using the official GA logos) but can only do so under agreement with GA.
  • The winners will be announced at the Awards ceremony in January 2012 and not before. 
  • Winners may publicise that they are a winner of an GA Award (including using the official GA logos)
  • The assessment criteria for each category can be found on www.gaming-awards.com
  • No entrant shall engage in any activity that may damage the integrity of ceremony. Any such actions shall be raised with the GA Council who will take any decision on disqualification. The GA Council's decision with respect to disqualification is final. 
  • An independent judging panel composed of knowledgeable observers of the Gaming sector will assess the nominees and choose the winners in each category. In event of equal amount of points received by 2 nominees, evidence will be reviewed by Chairman of the Judging panel and final decision on the winner will be made by the Chairman.
  • The Judges decision on the shortlist will be based on evidence supplied by the nominees themselves, when possible and/or media sources, background information on the company, site visits, trading statements and any other information relevant to the nomination
  • GA reserves the right to request further information about the service or product provided by entrants and to conduct spot checks if deemed necessary. 
  • Companies can register their intent to enter the awards and register their services or product with GA via the online form linked to from www.gaming-awards.com     Registration will close on the 18 October 2011
  • Nominees being considered for a particular award should submit the relevant supporting information in accordance with the     instructions from GA secretariat.
  • Individuals wishing to submit company or product name for nomination can complete online form via official web site  www.gaming-awards.com
  • In event of GA receiving nomination for the company or product from individual and entering nomination in to the competition process, nominee  will be contacted by GA with request for supporting information about company or product or service. In event of nominee not able to provide supporting information, nomination will remain in the competition and GA will collect where possible supporting info from media sources, background information on the company, site visits, trading statements and any other information relevant to the nomination

GA would like to encourage all nominees and participants to support nomination with up to date company/product or marketing information in order to make our industry Charity event a success and promote positive image for our industry.
