Leo Vegas buy up Italian gaming operator
Leo Vegas has made its first ever acquisition making a strong point that the company are on the up and the mobile operator is after the top spot as far as the mobile sector is concerned for online gambling.
The company recently also won mobile operator of the year at the 10th International Gaming Awards and with the announcement that Leo Vegas has acquired Winga an Italian gaming operator for €6.1 million the company have a license to operate in Italy.
Hagman the companies CEO said on the purchase, “this is yet another milestone in LeoVegas’ development. The acquisition of Winga.it will enable rapid expansion in Italy, as we are acquiring a company with local knowledge and an established position. LeoVegas’ expansion strategy is to grow in markets that are either regulated or in the process of being regulated. Our focus on mobile gaming and our proprietary, flexible technology platform create the conditions for a successful acquisition.”
